The Transportation and Works Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Transportation and Works Committee with the following action:

 

 

COMMUNICATIONS

1. P.M. Madill, Regional Clerk, The Regional Municipality of Durham, dated April 17, 2009, regarding Pre-Selection of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCS) for the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Upgrade Construction Contract, in the City of Pickering.  Received.

 

2. Debi Wilcox, City Clerk, City of Pickering, dated April 21, 2009, regarding 'Pickering's Waterfront Trail'.  Received and referred to staff.

 

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

3. Commissioner Llewellyn-Thomas confirmed that highway mid-block crossings will be addressed at the May 28, 2009 Regional Transportation Master Plan workshop and a report to Committee will follow.

 

4. The Committee was informed that updated population signage on Regional roads will be completed in May, 2009 and the provincial highway population signage should be updated by the end of summer 2009.

 

 

PRIVATE SESSION

 

The Committee resolved into private session at 10:04 a.m. to consider the following:

The Committee resumed in public session at 10:05 a.m. with no report out. 

 

 

The Transportation and Works Committee adjourned at 10:06 a.m.
