The Finance and Administration Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Finance and Administration Committee with the following action:

 

A  PRESENTATIONS

 

         Michael Garrett, Chief Administrative Officer made a presentation regarding Tracking Performance � Health Services. Slides used are on file. Received and staff directed to bring back further information on Public Health components of the Department to the Committee's next meeting.

 

         Sandra Cartwright, Commissioner of Finance made a presentation regarding Mid-year Progress Report � 2004 Budget (Please see Clause No. 2). Slides used are on file. Received. Committee directed staff that a list or chart of projects that have been deferred or not started, (together with the project cost, where the project stands now and future projections for the project) be made available for Council's meeting of September 23, 2004. Committee also requested that the 2005 Budget and Business Plan process be discussed at the next Committee meeting.

10  Marcy Adelberg, Acting President, Transitional and Supportive Housing Services of York Region, June 14, 2004, requesting the Region of York waive or reimburse the Development Charges on an expansion project for the family shelter. Received.

Re-Investment in Ontario's Conservation Authorities
