1. Honourable John Gerretsen, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, dated March 10, 2006, regarding 'York Region Significant Woodlands Study Draft Final Report'.  Received.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

2. In accordance with published advertisements, the following matter was placed before the Committee to facilitate the hearing of any person who wished to speak to the matter, if any, in compliance with the Municipal Act, 2001. No person having appeared, the matter was Received.

 

STOPPING UP AND CLOSING OF A PORTION OF LLOYDTOWN / AURORA ROAD (Y.R. 16), TOWNSHIP OF KING

 

(a) The stopping up and closing of that part of Lloydtown/Aurora Road (Y.R. 16), in the Township of King, in the Regional Municipality of York, geographically in the Township of King in the County of York being part of the E1/2 Lot 25, Concession 3 designated as Parts 1 and 3 on Plan 65R26388; and

 

(b) The conveyance of Parts 1 and 2 on Plan 65R26388.

 

PRIVATE SESSION

 

3. Committee resolved into Private Session at 11:30 a.m. to consider legal matters and resumed in open session at 11:34 a.m. with no report.

 

 

The Transportation and Works Committee adjourned at 11:35 a.m.
