The Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee with the following action:
OTHER BUSINESS
1. Request for TTC Class Environmental Assessment extension to
The Committee recommended that the Regional Chair write a letter to the Chair of the TTC, expressing York Region's strong interest in the extension of the Class Environmental Assessment for the Don Mills Road Light Rail Transit from Steeles Avenue to Major Mackenzie Drive; and that staff report back to the next Committee meeting on the feasibility, cost and process to extend the Don Mills Road LRT to Major Mackenzie Drive; and that the letter be sent in advance of the June 19, 2008 Council meeting due to time constraints.
2. The Committee requested staff to prepare a memorandum to the City of
