The Planning and Economic Development Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Planning and Economic Development Committee with the following action:
PRESENTATION
1. Towards a Sustainable Region
Barbara Jeffrey, Manager, Land Use Policy and Environment, Long Range and Strategic Planning Branch, provided an update related to growth management public engagements and the upcoming symposium "Towards a Sustainable Region" to be held at the Kortright Centre on March 3, 2006. Received.
COMMUNICATION
2. Town of East Gwillimbury, November 7, 2005 regarding 'Employment Corridor Review and Economic Analysis'. Received and referred to staff to discuss partnership opportunities with the Town of East Gwillimbury and report back to Committee.
The Planning and Economic Development Committee adjourned at 2:20 p.m.
