1. Greg Baxter, Account Manager, Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, May 17, 2004, regarding the expansion of the re-inspection program. Received.
2. J. D. Leach, City Clerk, City of Vaughan, April 30, 2004, forwarding a resolution adopted by the Council of the City of Vaughan at its meeting held on April 26, 2004, regarding property taxation of the 407 and future express toll roads (ETR). Received and endorsed with direction to send communications to the Premier of Ontario, the Ministers of Finance, the Minister of Transportation, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, local MPP's, the Association of Municipalities of Ontario and other municipalities that have 407 ETR lands.
3. J. D. Leach, City Clerk, City of Vaughan, April 30, 2004, forwarding a resolution adopted by the Council of the City of Vaughan at its meeting held on April 26, 2004, regarding the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) Current Value Assessment Process (CVA). Received.
4. Greg Sorbara, Minister, Ministry of Finance, April 26, 2004, regarding the filing of the 2004 education property tax rate regulations. Received.
5. Ed Sikkema, resident of King Township, requesting deputation status. Received and deputant status granted.
6. Ross Shropshire, Polish Army Veterans Association, May 31, 2004 regarding status of assessment for the Association's property. Received and referred to staff for a report.

7. Ed Sikkema, resident, Township of King, addressed the Committee regarding the Ansnorveldt community water supply. Received.
8. Councillor Jack Rupke, Township of King, addressed the Committee regarding the Ansnorveldt community water supply. Received.
9. Harry Vander Kooij, resident, Township of King, also addressed the Committee regarding the Ansnorveldt community water supply. Received.
OTHER BUSINESS
10. Committee requested an update on the 2005 Business Plan and Budget for its September 9, 2004 meeting.
11. A letter from Hazel McCallion, Mayor of Mississauga, to the Town of Markham, May 6, 2004, regarding the City of Mississauga's campaign to seek independence from the Region of Peel was referred to staff for a report.
12. Upon considering Clause 13 relating to Requirements for Providing Short-Term Financing Assistance to Hospitals, the Committee recommended that the Government of Ontario be requested again to amend the Development Charges Act to reinstate growth-related hospital expenditures as costs eligible for recovery from development charges.
The Finance and Administration Committee adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
