3  UPDATE - COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS

 

The Community and Health Services Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Community and Health Services Committee with the following action:

 

COMMUNICATION

1. Adelina Urbanski, Commissioner of Community and Health Services, dated December 5, 2012, regarding 'Release of A New Direction:  Ontario's Immigration Strategy'  Received.

 

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

2. Committee was updated on the donation and delivery of two ambulances to Guyana.  Chair Fisch and Regional Councillor Spatafora joined dignitaries from Guyana on location and all the recipients were extremely appreciative of the donation which will make a significant difference in many people's lives.

 

 

The Community and Health Services Committee adjourned at 2:53 p.m.
