21  UPDATE � COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS

 

The Transportation and Works Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Transportation and Works Committee with the following action:

 

 

DEPUTATIONS

 

1. Cathy Miller, resident, Richmond Hill, made a deputation and outlined concerns relating to the 19th Avenue Interceptor Sewer project.  Ms Miller advised that she is a member of the Interceptor Sewer Advisory Committee (ISAC) formed by the Region of York and referred to concerns regarding the conditions set out by the Ministry of the Environment relating to this project.  Kees Schipper, Commissioner of Transportation and Works advised that a report regarding this matter will be considered at the May 4, 2005 Transportation and Works Committee meeting.  Committee received the deputation by Cathy Miller.

 

2. Carrie Hoffelner, resident, Richmond Hill, made a deputation regarding the 19th Avenue Interceptor Sewer Project and submitted a document entitled "Concerns Regarding Proposed Alternative Sewer Routes Through the Sensitive Oak Ridges Moraine".  Kees Schipper, Commissioner of Transportation and Works advised that a report regarding this matter will be considered at the May 4, 2005 Transportation and Works Committee meeting.  Committee received the deputation and written submission by Carrie Hoffelner.

6. Committee resolved into Private Session at 10:40 a.m. to consider a legal matter and resumed in open session at 11:34 a.m. with no report.

 

 

The Transportation and Works Committee adjourned at 11:35 a.m.
