The Joint Transit Committee and Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Joint Transit Committee and Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee with the following action:
COMMUNICATIONS

1. Robert C. Prowse, Town Clerk, Town of Richmond Hill, November 1, 2005, regarding Request for a Viva Bus Stop � Chalmers Road and Highway No. 7.
2. Mary-Frances Turner, Vice-President, York Region Rapid Transit Corporation, November 23, 2005, regarding Requests for a Vivastation at Chalmers Road.
Committee received the communications and requested staff for a full review of all requests for additional stops and to report back in the spring of 2006.
OTHER BUSINESS
3. Irene McNeil, Manager, Service Planning, presented the 2004/2005 Revenue Ridership and Total Boardings Comparison and the YRT/Viva 2005 Ridership Summary for conventional and specialized services, including the monthly YRT/Viva ridership summary for October 2005.
Received.
4. Committee received a Petition for a community bus from the residents of Villa Giardino, Concord, dated December 6, 2005 and referred it to staff for a report.
The Joint Meeting of the Transit Committee and the Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee adjourned at 11:13 a.m.
