The Solid Waste Management Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Solid Waste Management Committee with the following action:

 

DEPUTATION

 

1. Peter Loukes, Director of Operations and Asset Management, Town of Markham, presented an update regarding the Town of Markham's Mission Green Program and the implementation of Phase 2. Received. (Refer to Clause 4 in this Report.)

PRIVATE SESSION

 

10. The Committee resolved into private session at 10:15 a.m. to consider legal matters and resumed in open session at 11:10 a.m. with no report.

 

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

11. The Committee received a motion from Regional Councillor Heath on behalf of the Town of Markham regarding materials to be accepted for blue box recycling. The Committee referred this matter to staff for a report to Committee in May.

 

 

The Solid Waste Management Committee adjourned at 11:40 a.m.
