10 UPDATE - COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS
The Transportation and Works Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Transportation and Works Committee with the following action:
ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR
1. The Transportation and Works Committee elected Mayor William F. Bell and Regional Councillor B. O'Donnell as Chair and Vice-Chair respectively for the year 2005.
PRESENTATIONS
2. Kees Schipper, Commissioner of Transportation and Works presented the 2005 Business Plan and Budget for the Transportation and Works Department - Roads Transportation and Solid Waste Management Operating Budget. Committee received the presentation and recommended that the 2005 Business Plan and Budget for the Transportation and Works Department - Roads Transportation and Solid Waste Management Operating Budget be referred to the January 27, 2005 Council Workshop for further discussion.

OTHER BUSINESS
6. Chair Bill Fisch introduced and extended a welcome to Jeffrey Abrams as the newly appointed Deputy Regional Clerk.
PRIVATE SESSION
7. Committee resolved into Private Session at 11:55 a.m. to consider a legal matter and resumed in open session at 12:30 p.m. with no report.
The Transportation and Works Committee adjourned at 12:30 p.m.
