10. Memorandum from Commissioner Llewellyn-Thomas and attached April 2012 Monthly Transit/Viva Ridership Statistics  Received.

 

Request for Speed Reduction on Glenwoods Avenue

 

11. Committee requested that a bylaw be prepared for consideration at the June 28, 2012 Regional Council meeting for a speed reduction on Glenwoods Avenue from Woodbine Avenue west to the incline from 80 km to 70 km. 

 

Community Safety Zones

 

12. Committee inquired when the Community Safety Zones bylaws would come forward to which staff responded that they would be ready for consideration at the June 28, 2012 Regional Council meeting.

 

Retirement of Bonnie Alexander

 

13. Commissioner Llewellyn-Thomas thanked Bonnie Alexander for her 27 years of dedicated service to York Region, having served during the terms of three Regional Chairs and five Transportation Commissioners, and wished her well in her retirement.

 

 

The Transportation Services Committee adjourned at 11:48 a.m.
