The Transit Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Transit Committee with the following action:

 

 

ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR

 

1. The Transit Committee elected Regional Councillor Frustaglio as Chair and Mayor Van Bynen as Vice-Chair of the Committee for the year 2009.

 

 

COMMUNICATION

 

2. C. Lance for Roland Chenier, Clerk, Town of Georgina, dated December 19, 2008 regarding 'York Region Transit, 2009 Service Plan'.  Received and referred to staff.

 

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

3. Monthly Ridership Statistics.  Received.

(The monthly ridership statistics were included as an attachment in the agenda for the January 15, 2009 Committee meeting).

 

 

 

The Transit Committee adjourned its meeting at 10:37 a.m.
