The Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee with the following action:

 

COMMUNICATION

1. Mary Frances Turner, Vice-President, York Region Rapid Transit Corporation and Sandra Cartwright, Commissioner of Finance, December 1, 2004, regarding 2005-2014 Capital Budget Items arising from the Joint Transit/Rapid Transit Committee Meeting of November 11, 2004. Received.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

2. Viva Launch

 

A video was shown and a presentation was made by Alina Kelly and Dan Miles, York Rapid Transit Plan regarding the viva launch held on December 6, 2004.  The Committee was also informed of activities planned for early 2005 involving the local municipalities and the public. A package containing a question and answer guide will be provided to all Members of Regional Council in the near future.  Received.

 

 

PRIVATE SESSION

 

3. The Committee resolved into private session at 12:33 p.m. and resumed in open session at 12:50 p.m. with no report.

 

 

The Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee adjourned at 12:51 p.m.
