The Finance and Administration Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Finance and Administration Committee with the following action:

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

1. Arbitration Reform

Following discussion, the Committee requested that the AMO resolution regarding Arbitration Reform be brought forward to Council along with a staff report.

 

13  PRIVATE SESSION

 

The Committee resolved into private session at 9:58 a.m. to consider the following:

 

1. Private Attachment to Clause 10 -- Report of the Chief Administrative Officer -- Delegation of Authority During Summer Months -- Potential Litigation

 

2. Private Report of the Commissioner of Corporate Services and the Commissioner of Community and Health Services -- Acquisition of Land, Emergency Medical Services, City of Markham -- Land Acquisition

 

3. Verbal Update -- Property Matter in Vaughan -- Proposed or Pending Acquisition of Land

 

The Committee resumed in public session at 10:11 a.m. and received the private attachment referred to in Item 1 and the verbal update referred to in Item 3. Item 2 will be considered in private session at Council's meeting of October 18, 2012.

 

 

The Finance and Administration Committee adjourned its meeting at 10:12a.m.
