Sheila Birrell, Town Clerk, Town of Markham (4.2MB), March 30, 2005, forwarding a resolution adopted by the Council of the Town of Markham at its meeting on March 29, 2005, regarding Financial Incentives for Affordable Housing Request for Deferral of Development Charges and a Reduced and Deferred Cash-in-Lieu Parkland Contribution by the Old Kennedy Cooperation Development Corp. at 90-108 Old Kennedy Road. Received and referred to the Commissioner of Finance for a report.

7. Carolyn Lance, Administrative Assistant to the Town Clerk, April 21, 2005, forwarding a motion adopted by the Council of the Town of Georgina at its meeting on April 4, 2005, regarding Property Tax Capping. Received.

 

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

Chair and Vice-Chair of the Committee

 

Mayor Cousens announced that he was stepping down as Chair of the Finance and Administration Committee. Members of the Committee thanked Mayor Cousens for his guidance and assistance in the role of Committee Chair.

The Committee recommends that Mayor Jones be appointed as Chair of the Finance and Administration Committee and Mayor Cousens be appointed as Vice-Chair of the Committee.

 

The Finance and Administration Committee adjourned at 9:09 a.m.
