PRESENTATIONS
1. Bill Hughes, Commissioner of Finance, regarding the 2012 Provincial and Federal Budgets. Received and staff be requested to report on the impact of the Provincial Budget on the horse industry in York Region.
2. Erin Mahoney, Commissioner of Environmental Services and Kathleen Llewellyn-Thomas, Commissioner of Transportation and Community Planning, regarding the Phased Capacity Assignment to Support Growth. Received.

COMMUNICATION
3. Ashley Mancuso, Council and Committee Services Coordinator, Town of Halton Hills, March 14, 2012, forwarding a resolution adopted by the Council of the Town of Halton Hills at its meeting on March 6, 2012 regarding Exemption from Taxation - Royal Canadian Legion. Received.
OTHER BUSINESS
4. The Committee discussed options for delivery of Committee and Council Agenda items to the Members of Council and asked the Regional Clerk to poll the Members of Council on their preferences.
6 PRIVATE SESSION
The Committee resolved into private session at 11:35 a.m. to consider the following:
1. Private Attachment to Item D2 of the Commissioner of Corporate Services - Acquisition of Land, Ninth Line Widening, Town of Markham - Land Acquisition
2. Private Attachment to Item D3 of the Commissioner of Corporate Services - Disposition of Land, Part of Lot 10, Concession 3, Town of East Gwillimbury - Land Disposition
3. Private Report of the Commissioner of Finance and the Regional Solicitor - Development Charge Complaint - Solicitor-Client
4. Private Report of the Commissioner of Corporate Services and the Regional Solicitor and the Executive Director, Corporate and Strategic Planning - Proposed Settlement of an Expropriation Claim in the Town of Richmond Hill - Litigation
The Committee received Items 1 and 2 and resumed in public session at 12:28 p.m. with no report out. The Committee's recommendations on Items 3 and 4 will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its April 19, 2012 Private Session.
The Finance and Administration Committee adjourned its meeting at 12:29 p.m.
