Copy of report, presentation and minutes from the October 18, 2012, Durham Region's Joint Finance and Administration, Health & Social Services, Planning & Economic Development, and Works Committee, regarding 'The Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to Address Outfall Capacity Limitations at the York Durham Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant, in the City of Pickering'. OTHER BUSINESS

 

10. Committee requested that staff report back to Environmental Services Committee in January or February, 2013, regarding the process being used within the public sector regarding the regional and local municipal inflow/infiltration reduction program.

 

11. Committee requested that staff report back to Environmental Services Committee regarding the status of the compostable bag pilot project at five local Loblaw stores.

 

12. Committee directed staff to follow up on the issues related to salt management on regional roads.

 

7  PRIVATE SESSION

 

The Committee resolved into private session at 11:50 a.m. to consider the following:

 

1. Private Report of the Regional Solicitor regarding External Water, Wastewater and Waste Management Facility Audits - Solicitor-Client Privilege

 

2. Private Report of the Commissioner of Environmental Services regarding The Regional Municipality of York and Local Water Distribution Systems - Security of Municipal Property

 

The Committee resumed in public session at 12:05 p.m. with no report out. Committee's recommendations on the private reports will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its November 15, 2012 Private Session.

 

 

The Environmental Services Committee adjourned at 12:05 p.m.
