COMMUNICATIONS 

 

1. Gerri Lynn O'Connor, Chair, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, dated September 7, 2012, regarding 'Lake Wilcox Sustainable Neighbourhood Retrofit Action Plan'. Received.

 

2. Erin Mahoney, Commissioner of Environmental Services, dated October 10, 2012, regarding 'Underground Infrastructure Locate Request Program Ontario One Call Membership'. Received.

 

3. Erin Mahoney, Commissioner of Environmental Services, dated October 10, 2012, regarding '2010-2011 Ontario Chief Drinking Water Inspectors Annual Report Summary'. Received.

 

 

OTHER BUSINESS 

 

4. Regional Councillor Heath informed Committee that the City of Markham is preparing a presentation regarding the Rouge National Urban Park which will be delivered to Parks Canada within the next month. York Region's participation will be requested.

 

 

10  PRIVATE SESSION

 

The Committee resolved into private session at 11:02 a.m. to consider the following:

 

1. Private Report of the Commissioner of Environmental Services and presentation regarding Waste Management Update � Potential Litigation and Solicitor- Client Privilege

 

The Committee resumed in public session at 12:05 p.m. with no report out. The presentation was received and Committee's recommendations on the private report will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its October 18, 2012 Private Session.

 

 

The Environmental Services Committee adjourned at 12:05 p.m.
