COMMUNICATIONS
1. Rod Adams, Director � Ontario Regulation 362, Ministry of the Environment, to Phillipa Sutcliffe, NOCO Lubricants Company, dated March 12, 2012, regarding 'Director's Instruction for the transport of PCB wastes to Aevitas, Ayr, Ontario (and for greater then 50 litres of PCB liquid no later than April 9, 2012)'. Received.
2. Rod Adams, Director � Ontario Regulation 362, Ministry of the Environment, to Phillipa Sutcliffe, NOCO Lubricants Company, dated March 12, 2012, regarding 'Director's Instruction for the draining of approximately 36,024 litres of PCB containing material (primarily motor oil) from a tank located at 220 Doney Crescent, Concord, no later than April 9, 2012'. Received.
3. Susan Self, Chair, CTC Source Protection Committee, dated March 14, 2012, regarding 'Deadline for Comment � Consultation on the CTC Draft Proposed Source Protection Plan Pursuant to the Clean Water Act, 2006 and Ontario Regulation 287/07'. Received and referred to staff.
4. Lynn Dollin, Chair, South Georgian Bay Lake Simcoe Protection Committee, dated March 26, 2012, regarding 'Formal Consultation on Draft Proposed Source Protection Plan and Explanatory Document Deadline � May 25, 2012 � Pursuant to Ontario Regulation 287/07 of the Clean Water Act, 2006'. Received and referred to staff.
OTHER BUSINESS
5. Regional Councillor Spatafora informed Committee that a tour of the South East Collector, Rouge Park, and Duffin Creek is tentatively scheduled for Council Members on June 29, 2012. More information will follow.
10 PRIVATE SESSION
The Committee resolved into private session at 11:43 a.m. to consider the following:
1. Private Report of the Commissioner of Environmental Services - Waste Management - Potential Litigation
The Committee resumed in public session at 12:05 p.m. with no report out. The Committee's recommendations on the private report will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its April 19, 2012 Private Session.
