1. The following motion submitted by Regional Councillor B. Hogg regarding The Dignity for All Campaign was referred to staff for a memorandum back to the next Community and Health Services Committee meeting:

2. The Regional Municipality of York prepare a comprehensive poverty reduction plan in consultation with local municipalities and stakeholders to support a Federal and Provincial poverty reduction strategy as outlined in the 'Dignity for All' campaign resolution.
3. The Regional Municipality of York send notification of this endorsement and resolution to the City of Calgary; the Federation of Canadian Municipalities for acknowledgement at their AGM in May 2010 and to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario for distribution to municipalities across Ontario.
