PRESENTATION

 

1. Mary Lou Johnston, Manager, Marketing and Customer Services, York Region Transit, made a presentation regarding Fare Media Design and Education.  Received.

 

COMMUNICATIONS

2. Robert C. Prowse, Town Clerk, Town of Richmond Hill, April 20, 2005, regarding GO Transit � Richmond Hill Commuter Rail Service Improvements.  Received and referred to Staff for report.

 

3. Inspector Steve Dolan, Traffic Services, Peel Regional Police, April 21, 2005, expressing thanks to Bill White, Fleet Technician, York Region Transit for his knowledge and professionalism during the investigation of a December 28, 2004 fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred at Pearson International Airport.  Received with thanks to Bill White for his involvement in this incident.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

4. Irene McNeil, Manager, Service Planning presented the updated Ridership Summary.  Received.

 

5. Mary Lou Johnston, Manager, Marketing and Customer Services presented the monthly Call Centre Statistics.  Received.

 

PRIVATE SESSION

 

6. Committee resolved into Private Session at 10:15 a.m. to consider a legal matter and resumed in open session at 10:44 a.m. with no report.

 

 

The Transit Committee adjourned at 10:45 a.m.
