The Solid Waste Management Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Solid Waste Management Committee with the following action:

 

 

PRESENTATION

 

1. Laura McDowell, Director, Environmental Promotion and Protection, presented the Green Bin and Backyard Composting Video, which was prepared in co-operation with the Town of Richmond Hill.  Received. 

 

 

PRIVATE SESSION

 

2. Committee resolved into private session at 11:07 a.m. to consider the following:

 

Clause 2, Report of the Commissioner of Environmental Services � Durham-York Residual Waste Environmental Assessment Study, Principles for Evaluation of Proposals from Pre-Qualified Vendors of Energy from Waste Technologies � Security of Municipal Property.

 

The Committee resumed in public session at 11:49 a.m. and recommended the adoption of the recommendation contained in Clause 2.

 

 

The Solid Waste Management Committee adjourned at 11:50 a.m.
