The Solid Waste Management Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Solid Waste Management Committee with the following action:

OTHER BUSINESS

1. Committee congratulated staff on receiving an award jointly with the City of Vaughan staff for their leadership role in containing the spread of the Asian Long-Horned Beetle.  Mr. Ian Buchanan, Manager of Natural Heritage and Forestry Services, accepted the award on behalf of the Region.

The Solid Waste Management Committee adjourned at 12:40 p.m.
