The Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee with the following action:

1. P. Madill, Regional Clerk,
2. The Committee was advised that Don Gordon, General Manager of York Region Transit, is retiring. The Regional Chair thanked Mr. Gordon, on behalf of the Committee, for his excellent leadership and hard work since joining the Region in 2000.
PRIVATE SESSION
The Committee resolved into private session at 10.20 a.m. to consider the following:
1. Update by the Regional Solicitor regarding Rapid Transit Projects � Land Acquisition.
2. Update by the Vice-President,
The Committee resumed in public session at 11:10 a.m. with no report out. The Committee's recommendations on the above matters will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its May 21, 2009 and May 28, 2009 Private Sessions respectively.
The Rapid Transit Public/Private Partnership Steering Committee adjourned at 11:11 a.m.
