The Planning and Economic Development Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Planning and Economic Development Committee with the following action:

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

1.  Committee received the following letters:

 

(a)  Sheila Birrell, Town Clerk, Town of Markham, September 30, 2004, regarding Hydro One � Bill 100;

 

(b)  Tom Parkinson, President and CEO, Hydro One Inc., October 4, 2004, regarding Announcement of Hydro One Preferred Transmission Option;

 

and recommended that the letters be:

 

(c)  referred to staff; and

 

(d)  forwarded to the local municipalities and to the local hydro companies for information.

 

(A copy of the letters referred to in this clause is included with this report)

 

 

The Planning and Economic Development Committee adjourned at 1:50 p.m.
