It was moved by Mr. Ferri, seconded by Ms Hogg that the Minutes of the Board of Directors of Housing York Inc. meeting of April 14, 2004 be confirmed, which was Carried.

It was moved by Mr. Heath, seconded by Mr. Ferri that the foregoing communication be received, which was Carried.

Joint Vaughan Partnership Project

 

A Report of the General Manager dated May 6, 2004 was presented recommending that:

 

1. The Board of Directors approve the name "Blue Willow Terrace" for the new seniors' apartments located on Fieldstone Drive in the City of Vaughan.

 

2. The Board of Directors approve up to 70% of the apartment units be made available to senior citizens in need of rent-geared-to-income assistance.

 

3. Staff be authorized to take the necessary actions to give effect thereto.

It was moved by Mr. Ferri, seconded by Ms. Hogg that the foregoing report be adopted, with the words "up to" deleted from Recommendation No. 2, which was Carried.

 

There being no further business, the Board adjourned at 4:41 p.m.
