OTHER BUSINESS
6. Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario Donation of Defibrillators
Committee acknowledged Mary Di Mambro, Assistant Consultant, and Paul Sutherland, Senior Associate of Hill and Knowlton, who were in attendance on behalf of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, regarding a request to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and York Region, to receive a number of defibrillators which the Region would be responsible for distributing among the local municipalities. Staff were requested to work with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and report back to Committee in January 2008.
