The Health and Emergency Medical Services Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by Health and Emergency Medical Services Committee with the following action:

 

PRESENTATION

1. 2004 Health Services Business Plan and Budget - Dr. K. Helena Jaczek, Commissioner of Health Services and Medical Officer of Health

 

Committee recommends that the presentation by Dr. K. Helena Jaczek, Commissioner of Health Services and Medical Officer of Health, be received and that the 2004 Business Plan and Budget for the Health Services Department be approved and forwarded to the March 4, 2004 Finance and Administration Committee meeting for inclusion in the 2004 consolidated Regional Business Plan and Budget.

 

Presentation material is on file in the Office of the Regional Clerk.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

2. Committee directed Staff to prepare a report for the April, 2004 meeting of the Health and Emergency Medical Services committee regarding the status of the banning of pesticide use in the Region of York

 

The Health and Emergency Medical Services Committee adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
