The Finance and Administration Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Finance and Administration Committee with the following action.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

 

Representation on Regional Council

 

The Committee requested that staff prepare a report on options for representation on Regional Council and forward it to a Council Workshop that will be held in the first quarter of 2012.

 

 

10        PRIVATE SESSION

 

The Committee resolved into private session at 10:40 a.m. to consider the following:

 

1. Private Report of the Commissioner of Corporate Services - Lease - York Region Rapid Transit Corporation - Land Acquisition

 

2. Private Presentation - Chief Administrative Officer - Personnel Matter

 

3. Private Attachments to Agenda item D5 Report of the Commissioner of Corporate Services -  Compensation for Expropriation, Vivanext H2: Highway 7 West, Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, City of Vaughan - Land Acquisition

 

4. Private Attachments to Agenda item D8 - Report of Commissioner of Corporate Services - Compensation for Expropriation, Widening and Reconstruction of Ninth Line, Town of Markham and the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville - Land Acquisition   

 

 

The Committee resumed in public session at 12:02 p.m. with no report out.  The Committee's recommendations on Items 1 and 2 will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its October 20, 2011 Private Session.

 

 

The Finance and Administration Committee adjourned its meeting at 12:04 p.m.
