The Finance and Administration Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Finance and Administration Committee with the following action.
COMMUNICATIONS

1. Mafalda Avellino, Executive Director, The Regional Municipality of York Police Services Board, January 29, 2010, forwarding a report adopted by the Police Services Board at its meeting on January 27, 2010, regarding Request for Proposal Award - Employee Assistance Program. Received.
2. Mafalda Avellino, Executive Director, The Regional Municipality of York Police Services Board, January 27, 2010, forwarding a report adopted by the Police Services Board at its meeting on January 27, 2010, regarding Proposal to Implement Fire Mobile Workstations with Fire Departments. Received and Council approve an amendment to the 2010 Capital Budget for the Fire Mobile Workstations project totalling $701,000 to be fully externally funded and cost recovered from municipal fire services. (See Attachment.)
OTHER BUSINESS
1. Centralized Dispatch
Staff was requested to provide the Committee at its meeting of March 4, 2010 or April 8, 2010 with a report on the history of Centralized Dispatch and what the Region would require from the Province in terms of legislative amendments or other approvals to make it happen.
PRIVATE SESSION
The Committee resolved into private session at 10:06 a.m. to consider the following:
1. Private Attachment to Report of the Commissioner of Corporate Services - "Acquisition of Lands York Regional Police - Egypt Communications Tower, Town of Georgina - Land Acquisition.
2. Private Attachments to Report of the Regional Solicitor - Telecommunications Structure License Agreements - 1st Annual Status Report (January 1 - December 31, 2009) - Security of Municipal Property.
3. Private Report of the Regional Solicitor - Disposition of Matters Under the Amended Purchasing By-law, 2009 Annual Report - Litigation.
4. Private Report of the Commissioner of Corporate Services - Leased Space - Yonge Street, Newmarket - Land Acquisition.
5. Private Report of the Commissioner of Corporate Services - Leased Space - Mulock Drive, Newmarket - Land Acquisition.
The Committee resumed in public session at 10:30 a.m. with no report out. The Committee's recommendations on the above matter will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its February 18, 2010 Private Session.
The Finance and Administration Committee adjourned its meeting at 10:31 a.m.
