1. News Release, The Regional Municipality of Durham, dated February 26, 2010, regarding MOE release of the Durham/York Residual Waste Study Environmental Assessment. Received.
OTHER BUSINESS

Presentation by Erin Mahoney, Commissioner of Environmental Services. Received.
The Committee received a chart regarding York Region and Local Municipal Joint Waste Management Summary. Committee requested that staff make revisions and distribute updated chart to local municipalities.
PRIVATE SESSION
The Committee resolved into private session at 10:38 a.m. to consider the following:
1. Private verbal update from Solicitor regarding Pickering Legal Action - Litigation
2. Markham District Energy Inc. - Security of Municipal Property
3. Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Status Report - Litigation
The Committee resumed in public session at 11:14 a.m. with no report out. The Committee's recommendations on the above matters will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its March 25, 2010 Private Session.
The Environmental Services Committee adjourned at 11:24 a.m.
