The e-Government Sub-Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the e-Government Sub-Committee with the following action:
PRESENTATION
1. Louis Shallal, Director, Information Technology Services, regarding Software Licensing and Maintenance in York Region. Received and the Commissioner of Finance be requested to submit a report to the June 22, 2005 meeting of the Committee on possible mitigation measures to reduce software costs for 2006 and beyond, and in doing so compare the Region's software cost per user to other public sector entities and to any private industry data which is available.
