4 UPDATE - COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS
The Community Services and Housing Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Community Services and Housing Committee with the following action:
PRESENTATION
1. 2007 Business Plan and Budget
The Committee received the presentation by Joann Simmons, Commissioner of Community Services, Housing and Health Services and recommended that 2007 Budget for the Community Services and Housing Department be referred to the April 5, 2007 Finance and Administration Committee meeting with the following recommendation:
The 2007 Business Plan and Budget for the Community Services and Housing Department be recommended for adoption subject to the following amendment:
1) That the proposed increase of 10 subsidized beds to the Domiciliary Hostel Program be increased to 20, subject to the increase being funded from within the draft 2007 Business Plan and Budget, not as an enhancement.
COMMUNICATION
1. Regional Councillor Vito Spatafora, January 23, 2007, confirming acceptance of the position of Vice Chair of the Community Services and Housing Committee and the Housing York Inc. Board of Directors. Received.
PRIVATE SESSION
1. Committee resolved into Private Session at 3:55 p.m. to consider one personal matter and returned to Open Session at 3:59 p.m. with no report.
The Community Services and Housing Committee adjourned at 3:59 p.m.
