5 UPDATE - COMMITTEE PROCEEDINGS

The Community Services and Housing Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Community Services and Housing Committee with the following action:

PRESENTATION

1. Draft 2004 Community Services and Housing Department Budget by Joann Simmons, Commissioner of Community Services and Housing.

 

Committee recommends that the presentation by Joann Simmons, Commissioner of Community Services and Housing be received and that the 2004 Business Plan and Budget for the Community Services and Housing Department be approved and forwarded to the March 4, 2004 Finance and Administration Committee meeting for inclusion in the 2004 consolidated Regional Business Plan and Budget.

 

2. Further to the budget discussions, Committee directed staff to prepare reports regarding the Early Intervention Program and the Social Assistance Reserve.
