The Community and Health Services Committee advises Council of the following matters having been considered by the Community and Health Services Committee with the following action:
OTHER BUSINESS
Restaurant Inspections and Results
1. Committee requested a report for the May 9, 2012 Community and Health Services Committee meeting regarding the Region's procedures for notifying the public about restaurant inspections and results.
Second Suites
2. Committee requested a memo for the May 9, 2012 Community and Health Services Committee meeting outlining the new Provincial regulations regarding Second Suites.
Daycare Operators' Wage Subsidies
3. Committee requested an update regarding wage subsidies between the Province, Region and daycare operators.
8 PRIVATE SESSION
The Committee resolved into private session at 1:34 p.m. to consider the following:
1. Private Report of the Commissioner of Community and Health Services - 'Richmond Hill Housing and Community Hub Initiative' - A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land
The Committee resumed in public session at 2:07 p.m. with no report out. The Committee's recommendations will be forwarded to Council for consideration at its April 19, 2012 Private Session.
The Community and Health Services Committee adjourned at 2:08 p.m.
