Temporary lane closures due to weather-related flooding

Two locations impacted on Highway 7 and Warden Avenue
The Regional Municipality of York has temporarily closed lanes in two locations due to weather-related flooding.
 
Impacted lanes include:
 
Highway 7 at Highway 404 in the Town of Richmond Hill has one lane closed in both directions
 
Warden Avenue north of 16th Avenue between Glenbourne Park Drive and Calvert Road in the City of Markham is closed in both directions
 
Closures in both areas will impact drivers through tonight’s rush hour period. The Warden Avenue closure is expected to continue into tomorrow.
Roadside signs are in place to advise motorists of the closures. Motorists are advised to drive with extra caution while travelling through these areas and use alternate routes where available.
