Southbound lane restrictions remain in effect on Yonge Street in Thornhill for emergency Bell Canada repairs

Closure expected throughout rest of the week
Two southbound lanes on Yonge Street in Thornhill between Clark Avenue and Steeles Avenue continue to be closed to allow Bell Canada to conduct emergency repairs beneath the road.
 
The closure, which began on the weekend, is expected to remain in effect throughout the rest of the week. Electronic message signs have been installed to direct motorists.
 
Motorists are asked to reduce speed through the construction area and consider using alternate routes during their daily commute.
