Road closures in effect this weekend in Town of East Gwillimbury for Canadian National Railway crossing repair work

Green Lane and McCowan Road to be affected
The Regional Municipality of York will temporarily close two road locations in the Town of East Gwillimbury this weekend to allow for Canadian National Railway (CNR) to complete level crossing and track repair work.
 
The locations are:
 
• Green Lane between Main Street/2nd Concession Road and Leslie Street
 
• McCowan Road between Davis Drive and Herald Road
 
During construction activity Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28, these roads will be open to local traffic only. CNR will install electronic message signs to direct motorists.
