Road closures in effect this weekend in Town of Georgina for Canadian National Railway crossing repair work

Ravenshoe Road and Old Homestead Road to be affected
The Regional Municipality of York will temporarily close two road locations in the Town of Georgina this weekend to allow for Canadian National Railway (CNR) to complete level crossing and track repair work.
 
The locations are:
 
• Ravenshoe Road between Miles Road and Park Road
 
• Old Homested Road between Weirs Sideroad and Station Road
 
During construction activity Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21, these roads will be open to local traffic only. CNR will install electronic message signs to direct motorists.
