Summer Company assists students in setting up
their own businesses for the summer

York Small Business Enterprise Centre now accepting applications
 
 
NEWMARKET ??" The York Small Business Enterprise Centre invites applications from students who want to participate in Summer Company, a program that assists students between the ages of 15 and 29 years old to set up their own businesses for the summer.
 
Participants require a good summer company idea, commitment and hard work.
 
York Small Business Enterprise Centre facilitates hands-on business training from successful business mentors, financial support of up to $3,000 and the opportunity for participants to discover if they have what it takes to be an entrepreneur.
 
Summer Company is open to students returning to school in the fall. To qualify, students must submit an application and a detailed business plan for approval.
 
This is a great opportunity for students to explore self-employment, develop their entrepreneurial skills and make money at the same time.
