Free YRT/Viva service ends this Saturday, March 31

Don’t forget your YRT/Viva fare for all rides starting Sunday morning
NEWMARKET – The Regional Municipality of York reminds residents that free YRT/Viva service ends Saturday, March 31. Starting April 1, fares are required to board all YRT/Viva services.
 
Tickets, passes and PRESTO cards are available at locations throughout the Region. Visit www.yrt.ca for full fare information and ticket agent locations in your area. February monthly passes will be honoured for the month of April.
 
For those taking late evening YRT/Viva services, please note fares are not required for midnight to 2 a.m. travel from Saturday to Sunday. Fares will be required as of the new service day beginning approximately 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 1.
 
York Region thanks residents for their patience during the phased-in return of YRT/Viva service.
