The Regional Municipality of York announces changes to toilet rebate program


Revisions to successful program take effect January 1, 2013
The Regional Municipality of York Water for Tomorrow program is revising its toilet rebate program for 2013.
 
Effective January 1, 2013, $40 rebates will be offered for eligible WaterSense-labelled water-efficient toilets with a limit of two rebates per York Region residence.  Prior to purchase, residents are strongly advised to check the Water for Tomorrow website at www.waterfortomorrow.ca to ensure the toilet they wish to purchase is included in the list of approved fixtures. Only those on the list are eligible for rebate.
 
Applications for rebates are available online or by calling 1-888-967-5426.
