Bathurst Street in Town of Aurora closed Sunday

Temporary road closure and lane reductions in effect from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
NEWMARKET – All lanes on Bathurst Street between Wellington Street West and Orchard Heights Boulevard in the Town of Aurora will be temporarily closed this Sunday, April 29 from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the A&B Courier Run or Walk in support of the Southlake Regional Health Centre.
 
Additionally, one northbound lane on Bathurst Street will be open to traffic from McClellan Way to Wellington Street West during this time.
 
Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and take Dufferin Street (to the West) or Yonge Street (to the East) as alternate routes.
 
York Regional Police will be on site and detour signs will be installed to help re-route traffic.
