Public information centres to be held for improvements to Rutherford Road/Carrville Road

Second round of consultations to be held on September 22 and 27
NEWMARKET – The Regional Municipality of York will host a second round of public consultations concerning improvements to Rutherford Road/Carrville Road between Jane Street and Yonge Street in the City of Vaughan and Town of Richmond Hill.
 
These sessions are the second of three scheduled consultations for the Rutherford Road/Carrville Road Class Environmental Assessment, is examining options for road widening, watercourse crossings and rail crossings.
 
Both sessions will feature an open-house at 6 p.m. followed by a presentation and discussion at 7 p.m.

Public input is integral to the project. Interested stakeholders and media are welcome to attend either session. Members of York Region’s project team as well as the project consultants will be present to answer any questions on the proposed changes.
