The preferred solution for improving Rutherford Road/Carrville Road is to add facilities to accommodate cyclists and widen the road between Jane Street and Bathurst Street. The road widening will require a redesign of the intersection of Rutherford Road at the GO Rail crossing.
Different solutions for this redesign at the GO Rail crossing will be discussed at the workshop.
