8 th annual Bridges to Better Business conference puts focus on innovation
NEWMARKET – The York Small Business Enterprise Centre, an initiative of The Regional Municipality of York, will present a unique learning event for entrepreneurs, small business owners and new start-ups at the 8th annual Bridges to Better Business conference on February 4th.
The theme of this year’s conference will be “business innovation in changing times.” Successful business owners and outstanding presenters will discuss the innovative strategies they use to adapt to and evolve with new developments to be more competitive and expand their businesses.
Panel discussions will focus on current, innovative business practices across a range of topics, including customer service, immigration, environmental priorities and social issues. Innovative business models and the use of new social media will be discussed with leading innovators in companies such as BioMinds Canada, Transition York Region, Windfall Ecology Centre and the Business Knowledge Initiative.
The registration fee of $50 per person includes breakfast, luncheon and networking opportunities. Trade show tables are available for $50. Cash, cheque and major credit cards accepted.
