York Region Emergency Medical Services brings joy to kids this Christmas Eve deliver toys to sick and injured children

The Regional Municipality of York will deliver toys to sick and injured children
NEWMARKET - Paramedics from York Region Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will distribute toys this Christmas Eve to children in York Region hospital emergency rooms and children’s wards. 2011 marks the seventh consecutive year for this charitable initiative that touches so many during this holiday season.
 
Ganz Inc. has generously donated approximately 250 teddy bears to York Region EMS for distribution.
 
Media are invited to photograph and interview paramedics as they load teddy bears into emergency vehicles.
