Lane closures in effect on King Road between Fisher Street and Banner Lane in Township of King

Closures required to complete construction of watermain
NEWMARKET ??" The Regional Municipality of York is implementing a series of lane closures on King Road between Fisher Street and Banner Lane in the Township of King to complete construction of a local watermain.
 
Construction is now underway with work anticipated to be complete by the end of August.
 
The following lane closures will be in effect through August 29:
 
Tuesday, August 15 to
Tuesday, August 23 
• Two north lanes closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
 
• One north lane closed after 7 p.m.
Wednesday, August 24 to
Monday, August 29
• One north lane closed from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the duration of these lane restrictions.  York Region will send a further notice in the event of any further lane restrictions.
 
York Region thanks motorists and residents for their patience as the watermain construction is completed.
