Town of Newmarket clinic remains open
(EFFECTIVE 4:05 p.m.)

NEWMARKET – Effective immediately, Sunday, November 1st, the H1N1 flu immunization clinic operating at Vellore Village Community Centre in the City of Vaughan is at capacity.  People currently in line will be immunized.

York Region is opening three additional clinics starting tomorrow, Monday, November 2nd.  Please see the clinic schedule below for clinic hours and locations.  Map locations and driving directions for each are available by clicking here.

Each clinic has a total daily average capacity of 1,200 patients and people in high risk groups are welcome to attend one of our five clinics tomorrow.

At all clinics, the H1N1 flu vaccine will only be available to those people in the first priority group who need the vaccine the most.

Attendance at the two current H1N1 flu clinics operating since October 28th has been extremely high; people are asked to please be patient, courteous to others and be prepared for a long wait.

Clinic dates and locations may be subject to change.  Before going to a clinic, residents are encouraged to confirm clinic locations, dates and times on our website www.york.ca/H1N1 or by calling York Region Health Connection at 1-800-361-5653.
